On Sabbath, Aug. 1, 2026, Pastor Jerson Sical offered prayers for the school year for all the children during Sidell Seventh-day Adventist Church’s worship service. Sical read the scripture Matthew 19:14 “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (KJV). After the worship service, the children were given backpacks with school supplies in them.
