The largest Adventist sanctuary in Oklahoma welcomed pastors from across the state for their annual workers’ meeting on Oct. 13. Held for the first time at the Midwest City Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church, the meeting offered a full day of training, collaboration, and strategic planning.

Ministerial Director Richard Piñero and Evangelism Coordinator Edward Bryan opened the meeting with an overview of the OneVoice27 initiative, a worldwide effort designed to unify evangelism, strengthen church health, and expand community impact. Pastors participated in church-improvement presentations and brainstorming sessions focused on revitalization, member engagement, and ministry innovation.

A strong emphasis was placed on digital communication. Pastors were encouraged to work closely with their congregations’ tech teams to keep local church websites and social media channels active and up to date. Leaders noted that a consistent online presence is essential for growth, as most people today discover churches digitally—especially after relocating or navigating major life transitions.

Presentations also highlighted opportunities in community outreach, Native ministries, and prison and urban ministry, offering practical pathways for expanding local church involvement across the state. Additional sessions covered risk management, health care trends, and church insurance considerations.
