More than 400 community members received free medical, dental, and vision care during Love In Action Inc.'s two-day free clinic held June 19–20 at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The event welcomed 413 individuals, making it the organization's largest clinic to date and reflecting the growing need for accessible health care throughout New Mexico.

Since its founding, Love In Action Inc. has continued expanding its mission of providing free health care to underserved communities through medical, dental, and vision clinics while promoting education and preventive care. Each clinic reflects the organization's commitment to removing barriers to health care and serving every individual with compassion and dignity.

Throughout the two-day event, volunteer health care professionals provided comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care, helping hundreds of patients receive services they otherwise may have postponed or gone without. Medical services included blood pressure checks, glucose testing, health screenings, and consultations. Dental teams provided exams, X-rays, fillings, and extractions, while vision specialists offered complete eye exams, optometry services, and prescription glasses.

Beyond health care, the clinic also cared for the whole person. Kings Barber College provided 67 complimentary haircuts, while volunteers offered 55 relaxation massage therapy sessions.

The atmosphere throughout the clinic reflected the spirit of service that has become the hallmark of Love In Action. Volunteers, health care professionals, and community partners worked together to meet practical needs while offering encouragement, kindness, and hope. From medical screenings to meaningful conversations, the event demonstrated that compassionate service can leave a lasting impact on a community.

"I wanted to thank you again for the event," one patient shared. "I was able to get my tooth pulled and feel so much better after over a year of pain and infection."

The June clinic demonstrated significant community impact. A total of 413 individuals received care, including 234 on June 19 and 179 on June 20. The clinic served a diverse population, including 41.5 percent White/Caucasian, 19.5% percent Native American, 14.6 percent Black/African American, as well as individuals representing many other backgrounds. Adults between the ages of 31 and 60 made up the largest age group served, accounting for 54.5 percent of attendees.

Patients also expressed a high level of satisfaction with the care they received. Eighty-six percent rated their provider experience as "Excellent," while 78.1 percent rated their overall clinic experience as "Excellent."

While the clinic addressed immediate physical needs, its greater purpose remained unchanged—to reflect Christ's ministry through compassionate service and build relationships that open the door to sharing God’s love. Every interaction, whether through medical treatment, a listening ear, or a simple act of kindness, reflects Love In Action's desire to bring hope and healing.

The ministry's continued growth is made possible through the generosity of volunteers, health care professionals, donors, and community partners whose time, expertise, and support allow these clinics to reach hundreds of people each year.

Looking ahead, Love In Action is preparing to bring its free health care clinics to Farmington, N.M., in December, then Sandoval County in July 2027.

As the ministry continues to grow, each clinic demonstrates how simple acts of compassion can leave a lasting impact on individuals, families, and communities. Through the dedication of countless volunteers and supporters, Love In Action remains committed to bringing hope, healing, and Christ's love to those who need it most.
