Little Rock Adventist Academy is praising God for several exciting campus improvements that are helping make the school safer, more welcoming, and more functional for students and families.

On Sept. 2, the school’s new perimeter fence was completed. In late April, new playground equipment was also added, including a slide, seesaw, and Verve climbing structure. The existing swings were refurbished, complementing the monkey bars already enjoyed by the students.

These improvements were made possible through the generous support of church members, school families, and friends who have contributed through fundraising efforts that began in February 2024. Their prayers, time, and financial support have helped bring these projects to life.

Students and staff are already enjoying the benefits of the new fence. Children have greater freedom to play within clear and enclosed boundaries, while teachers and adults have greater peace of mind during outdoor activities. The school is praying that these improvements will also help strengthen its ministry and support future enrollment growth.

Looking ahead, Little Rock Adventist Academy plans to develop a greenhouse and garden area where students can grow fresh produce for the church and surrounding community. Students will have opportunities to participate in the church’s community-service pantry ministry while also using the garden as a hands-on learning laboratory.

Through gardening, students can apply lessons in science, math, and language arts by observing plant growth, collecting and interpreting data, and writing about what they discover. Just as importantly, they will learn responsibility, cooperation, service, and the value of meaningful work.

Little Rock Adventist Academy is grateful for God’s continued guidance and for the faithful support of its church family. The school looks forward to continuing its mission of providing a safe, Christ-centered environment where students can grow spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.
