The Conway Challengers Pathfinder club from the Conway Seventh-day Adventist Church spent Sabbath afternoon, Oct. 10, hiking the Bufflehead Bay Trail near Little Rock, Ark.
Led by club directors Mark and Joany Johnston, the Pathfinders were working toward completing their Mammal honor. They saw an eagle and other wildlife along the trail, and their leaders provided additional forestry lessons.
The club had received assistance with the honor from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission as well as a wildlife biologist from the conservation organization Quail Forever.
